PixelPets

AI companions that live along the edges of your browser tabs.

Add to Chrome

PixelPets is a Chrome extension. Your pets wander the pages you are reading, nap when you ignore them, play with each other, and answer questions about whatever is on screen — each in its own voice.

What they do

Ask for any animalSay you want a penguin, an elephant, a reindeer — its appearance is drawn for you and it moves like the rest of them. Not a menu of six.
They live on the pageWalking, climbing, napping and getting bored, with real physics. Drag one and it slides.
They read alongAsk about the page you are on and the answer comes back in character, in whichever language you wrote in.
They play togetherEagle and chicks, football, capture the flag, a plain chase — games that need more than two pets on screen, and they sort out between themselves who plays what.
Invent a move, teach it, sell itDescribe a trick in your own words and watch it animated. Keep it, or list it in the action library for other people's pets to learn.
They put on a showAsk for a story and they act it out beat by beat, with an ending — and each remembers what you have told it, between sessions.
